Bonnaroo Sale 2021

Randal Hale · August 30, 2021 ·

How was Bonnaroo in 2020? It didn’t happen. For the first time in a good while we didn’t have the annual Bonnaroo Sale.

Wednesday September 8th 2021 we will have a Sale! We’re opening the door at 9 AM and selling whatever we salvaged from Bonnaroo. WHAT?

Part of Waterways function is to make sure that we recycle and reuse everything we can. We go into Bonnaroo as you leave and perform a giant cleanup and remove anything that can be sold at the Gear Closet.

We get needed gear back in circulation and cut down on anything headed to the landfill. What will you find at the sale?

  • Tents of all sizes
  • Tarps
  • Pots and Pans
  • Pop-ups
  • Pool Noodles
  • Kid Sized Swimming pools
  • Camping Chairs.

Come out on September 8th and help support Waterways and the Gear Closet!

Gear Swap has moved to April 25th 2021

Randal Hale · April 24, 2021 ·

If you’re up here searching for information – we had to move the gear swap due to the weather to Sunday April 25th 2021.

The event will happen from 12 to 5 that day.

New Hours

Randal Hale · April 12, 2021 ·

It’s been a year (or slightly more) Since the store was closed for nearly 2 months.

Over the last 365 days we’ve been slowly re-opening as we figure out what works and what doesn’t. As of April 2021 we are now at:

  • Wednesday: 12 to 6
  • Thursday 12 to 6
  • Friday 12 to 6
  • Saturday 10 to 5
  • Sunday 1 to 5

Which puts us back at a 5 day a week schedule. We may shift our hours as the temps warm up and do more “night” hours – but for now you have us 5 days a week.

Canoes, Kayaks, Paddleboards: Pandemic on the Water

Randal Hale · June 11, 2020 ·

We’ve made it back with some limited hours and one thing has happened: We’re about out of boats.

The Pandemic has changed a lot of things. One thing you can do almost without worry is get outside. Get on the water. Go for a hike. Disappear for a bit.

So do you have a boat sitting around you’d like to consign? We have a “virtual” line of people looking for everything you can think of to get on the water. So the chances are it will come in and go out quickly. Plus it’s no hassle for you beyond getting it to the store.

What do we need?

  • PaddleBoards
  • Paddles
  • Lake Kayaks
  • Inflatable Kayaks
  • Canoes (I mean who doesn’t want a canoe)
Have you ever paddled around Williams Island?

Anyway – give us a shout. Book an appointment. If you have a boat sitting around and it has all it’s parts, pieces, and you want to give it another life – that’s what we do!
